SS: Asya-Realizations of Love

Zoya was standing on her balcony looking over the gardens. Her face tear stricken and she still looked beautiful. She was crying because she decided she should leave. Ever since Tanveer showed up, Asad didn't even argue with her anymore and that was the only thing that they connected over. She also couldn't deal with the pain of seeing the man she loved with a different girl. Yes, she had come to realize that she had feelings for Asad after her revelations of her father.( in this story her father really is dead and Tanveer isn't out there to kill her, she really is Asad's friend.) She had no purpose to stay here anymore, she can't keep going through this pain anymore.
Dilshad: Zoya come and have dinner.
She wiped her face and went down the stairs. She saw Asad and Tanveer talking and smiling to each other on the table and Zoya wished it was her instead of Tanveer. She came and sat across from Tanveer and she was beside Asad. What hurt her the most was how he didn't even acknowledge her anymore. Before he would at least make eye contact or nod his head her way but now it was like she didn't even exist. 
Dilshad noticed Zoya playing with her food. She has noticed these days Zoya hasn't been her usual happy joyful Zoya.
Dilshad: Zoya are you okay.
Zoya: Yeah Phuphi i am fine im just not hungry will you excuse me for a minute? 
Without even waiting for a reply she walked away. She didn't see Asad look at her with a worried face.
Zoya started to pack her bags. She had written a note and was going to leave early in the morning and take the first flight to New York. She had just finished packing and was going to head down to get a glass of water when she heard Asad and Phuphi talking.
Dilshad:...If you really love her then propose to her. Keep her with you forever. I know she has been the reason why you have changed. I have seen you smile more and laugh and learned what love is. Tell...
Zoya couldn't hear anymore. She knew they had to be talking about Tanveer since she has never been able to make him smile much less laugh. All she has ever been is a musibat and that's all she will ever be to him. She came and got her water and left.

It was 4 am and Zoya was all packed up and left the house, leaving the letter on the dining table. She reached the door and to a minute to look at the Khan mansion, one place where she felt like she belonged and turned and left.

The Khan family had all awaken when the heard a door close. the went downstairs to check what happened when Tanveer noticed something.
Tanveer: Asad look their is a note on the table.
When he reached there the envelope had their names written on their.
Dear Asad, Phuphi, Najma,
Thank you for letting me stay in your house for so long. I never meant to stay as long as i did. Asad, im sorry for giving you so much trouble through my stay. I hope you can find it enough to forgive me. Najma, you have been the sister i have always wanted. Remember that your bhai jaan is protective of you because he loves you and doesn't want you to get hurt. That's why you have so many restrictions. I don't approve of them but he is only looking out for you. Phuphi, you have been a mother that i have craved for and i finally got mother's love in the time i have stayed at your household.Asad, i hope you get all the happiness you deserve.

They all had tears in their eyes. They couldn't believe she left without a proper goodbye or even given them a heads up. By now they thought she would have gone so they had no way of bringing her back. Asad walked to his room. He closed the door and punched the walls and ruined his entire bedroom. Dilshad came inside to see him sitting on the ground leaning against the couch and staring off into space. Dilshad came and sat next to him.
Asad: She left, Ammi she left. How am i supposed to keep her when she isn't here.
Dilshad: I guess we were to late.
Asad: But why did she leave? Why does everyone i love leave? 
Dilshad: I don't know beta. I just don't know.

Asad got up and took his keys and left. He just drove on for what seemed like hours and then finally stopped at the daragh. The place where he met his Zoya first. He sat where he sat on that day and this time he was the one crying. He prayed to Allah that somehow Zoya would appear in front of him. Asad: Zoya... Zoya...
